Full Day Trip

Full day fishing guide trips give you the best opportunity to catch your trophy. We start early, and then fish hard all day. Often these trips involve an open water crossing to the Biloxi Marsh or barrier islands south of the Mississippi gulf coast. We leverage each day’s conditions and your angling goals in order to create a great experience.
Half Day (4hr) Trip
$500
Half-day trips in the eastern Mississippi marshes are a great way to focus on a prime tide cycle, or to get introduced to sight fishing in a time crunch. Ask us about night fishing on the docklights, too.
In the days before your trip, we will talk through details including meeting time and location, special accommodations, and any questions that you may have.
We work with the best guides in the region to offer multi-boat charters. From fly shop hosted trips to family outings, we can make it happen.
Additional Fly Fishing Guide Trip Details
The Trip Includes:
- Guided sight fishing on a technical poling skiff.
- Top quality tackle, leaders, and flies. Bring your own if you’d like to.
- 7 or 8wts for slot fish. 8 to 10wts for bull redfish. Floating lines and big flies, with sz #2-3/0 hooks typically.
- Water and ice in the cooler.
- Lunch is included by request on full day trips.
- Additionally, transportation to and from the launch can be arranged by request.
What to bring:
- Fishing license. I will advise the relevant license to purchase prior to your trip.
- Rain gear (top and bottom) and breathable clothes. Bring layers if it’s cold out. Rain gear for catching spray on exposed boat rides.
- Cap and polarized sunglasses. I wear yellow for low light (clouds or partial sun), or amber for full sun.
- Sunscreen, bug spray, and a good attitude. Alcohol if you want. No glass.
- Any medications that you may need while onboard.
Payment and Cancellations
- All trips require a $100 per day deposit when booking.
- Trips canceled outside of 30 days, or due to weather, will receive a refund of the deposit.
- It is up to the guide’s discretion to cancel a trip due to weather.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled trip are expected to pay the balance in full.
